It is slightly past 5. With the day winding down and parents beginning to arrive to bring the children home, most are waiting in anticipation for their name to be called out.
“Raphael! Mummy’s here!”
He comes running, small feet pitter-pattering through the corridor.
“Raphael, you walk and not run! Hold my hand please, and remember to grab your bag.”
The pitter-pattering slows down, but he keeps repeating with a huge grin on his face, “Mummy! Mummy! Mummy!”
When he finally reaches her, he grabbed onto his little’ sister’s foot.
He had a great day in school, and now he’s going to have a great night at home with family.
