When lunch was delivered, there was a chorus of excited chatter amongst the children. Amidst the chatter, Arjun waited patiently for his lunch to be placed on his table. When it was distributed, he excitedly peeled off the cover to see what’s inside.
“What are you having for lunch Arjun?”
“Vegetables and rice.”
“Do you like your lunch Arjun?”
Glancing up from his plate, his eyes lit up and nodded profusely before digging in.
As Virgina Woolf once said, “One cannot think well, love well, sleep well, if one has not dined well”.
For Arjun, mealtime fuels his exploratory steps in the immense world of learning.
