“Koei…koei? Koei…”
Instead of the usual enthusiasm, we are met with a wall of silence today. It seems, today we lost to a few coloured foam blocks in terms of “entertainment value”.
You see, often associate child-like temperament with traits like being easily distracted, impatience and short attention spans.
Yet children possess great abilities to persist. Give them the right tools, set them in the correct direction and provide the space for them to explore – you have a child completely absorbed in that one task for 15min. Or if we are lucky, longer than that.
So there, now you know the reason why we could not get a frontal shot of Koei today – he was so bent on creating possibilities with his foam blocks that no amount of cajoling and “peek-a-boos” could get his attention.
